POSTPONEMENT OF THE THIRD ARABIAN CONGRESS OF THE RAHMA MEDICAL COMPLEX
The Rahma Medical Complex regrets to inform you that the 3rd Arabian Congress on the theme “Pediatric Rehabilitation: Future Perspective”, that was to be held on June 7 – 8, 2008 at Safadi Cultural Center in Tripoli, has been postponed because of the conflicts in Lebanon.
For this reason and because participant’s security and comfort during their stay in Lebanon are from our priorities, the Rahma Medical Complex Board has taken the decision to postpone its Congress, The date will be designed later on.
We would like to thank you for your collaboration and understanding, hoping to see you again soon in Lebanon.

MARILYN MOFFAT ELECTED PRESIDENT OF WCPT
ALEXANDRIA, VA, June 7, 2007 — APTA member Marilyn Moffat, PT, DPT, PhD, CSCS, FAPTA, was elected president of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) during the WCPT Congress, June 2-7 in Vancouver, Canada. Moffat, a professor of physical therapy at New York University and former president of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), has held numerous national, regional, and local offices in APTA.
