Vision
The Order of Physical Therapists in Lebanon is the leading institution in Lebanon and the Near/Middle East for the advancement of practicing physical therapists in evidence-based practice and continuing education, as well as in the perpetual pursuit of physical therapists’ professional issues.
L’ordre des Physiothérapeutes au Liban est l’institution promotrice du progrès des physiothérapeutes actifs au Liban comme au Proche \Moyen Orient et ce à travers une pratique factuelle, une éducation continue ainsi qu’un suivi permanent de toute question concernant les physiothérapeutes au niveau professionnel.
إنّ نقابة المعالجين الفيزيائيين في لبنان هي المؤسسة الرائدة في لبنان كما في الشرق الأدنى \الأوسط في مجال العمل على تطوير المهنة من خلال الممارسة المستندة إلى الأدلّة العلمية والتدريب المستمر كما عن طريق المتابعة الدائمة لمسائل المعالجين الفيزيائيين المهنية
Mission
- To act on behalf of the physical therapists, being the only institution representing physical therapists in Lebanon in all professional issues
- To propose and implement laws and regulations related to the advancement of the practicing physical therapists
- To highlight the scientific role and cost-effectiveness of physical therapy in consultation, prevention and treatment of diseases and physical ailments
- To provide full support to employed /self-employed physical therapists to fair remuneration that reflects the academic and clinical values of physical therapy
- To provide and facilitate continuing education to practicing physical therapists based on educational needs and, permanently advance their competence and skills in the areas of clinical practice, management and research
- To coordinate activities with academic institutions for the advancement of academic and clinical aspects of the profession
- To improve the health of the Lebanese community, individuals and population, through the exchange and application of evidence –based knowledge (assessment, treatment and patient education)
- To foster multidisciplinary practice with all healthcare and medical professions / disciplines namely, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy and psychomotor therapy
- Agir au nom des physiothérapeutes, comme étant la seule institution les représentant au Liban sur tous les plans professionnels.
- Proposer et mettre en application des lois et des règles relatives au progrès des physiothérapeutes actifs.
- Mettre en relief le rôle, l’efficacité et l’efficience de la physiothérapie au niveau de la consultation, la prévention et le traitement de maladies et maux physiques.
- Assurer un soutien complet aux physiothérapeutes employés ou travaillant pour leurs propres comptes afin de leur garantir une rémunération équitable reflétant les valeurs académiques et cliniques de la profession.
- Assurer et faciliter une éducation continue des physiothérapeutes basée sur les besoins éducationnels et promouvoir de manière permanente leurs compétences et leurs talents au niveau de la pratique clinique, la gestion et la recherche.
- Entreprendre des activités avec des institutions académiques afin de consolider les aspects académiques et cliniques de la profession.
- Promouvoir la santé de la communauté Libanaise, des individus ainsi que de la population à travers l’échange et l’application d’un savoir factuel (évaluation, traitement et éducation du patient).
- Encourager la pratique pluridisciplinaire avec tous les professionnels des diverses professions de santé et disciplines médicales, en particulier avec les médecins, les infirmier(e)s, les ergothérapeutes et les psychomotriciens.

اقتراح قوانين وأنظمة معنية بتقدّم المعالجين الفيزيائيين وتطبيقها
إلقاء الضوء على الدور العلمي للعلاج الفيزيائي وفاعليته على مستوى الاستشارة والوقاية ومعالجة الأمراض والأوجاع الجسدية
توفير دعمٍ كاملٍ للمعالجين الفيزيائيين الموظّفين أو العاملين لحسابهم الخاص للوصول إلى بدل أتعاب يعكس القيم الأكاديمية
والسريرية للمهنة
توفير وتيسير تدريبٍ مستمر للمعالجين الفيزيائيين انطلاقاً من الحاجات على هذا الصعيد وبهدف تعزيز قدراتهم وكفاءاتهم
في مجالات الممارسة السريرية والإدارة والبحوث
تنسيق الأنشطة مع المؤسسات التربوية بهدف تعزيز النواحي الأكاديمية والسريرية الخاصة بالمهنة
المساهمة في تحسين صحة المجتمع اللبناني، أفراداً ومجموعات من خلال تبادل المعرفة المستندة إلى الأدلّة العلمية (التقييم والعلاج وثقافة المريض) وتطبيقها
تعزيز الممارسة المتعددة الاختصاصات مع مختلف المهن الطبية والصحية وخصوصاً الطب، التمريض، العلاج الإنشغالي
والعلاج الحسّي الحركي
