Here are some of the greetings received by the OPTL Board in the Occasion of the Eight International Congress :
Dearest Claude, Ahmad, and Georges:
I did want you to know how much I appreciated your most gracious hospitality during my all too brief stay in Lebanon. You are surrounded by so much beauty and history, and I would love to have the opportunity to see so much more of it.
I know how incredibly hard you all worked to make the conference the success that it was. I hope my presentations were helpful not only for you, but also for the Order as you continue to raise the standards for the profession in Lebanon. If there is anything that I may do (eg, followup letters to government officials, etc) to support your efforts, please do not hesitate to contact me. I send you all good wishes and my heartfelt thanks - Marilyn

Dear Georges, Claude and Ahmad,
Thank you so much for your very kind greetings.
It is I who should be thanking all of you for your friendship, generous hospitality, all the arrangements made on our behalf and for inclusion in your excellent Congress. You truly brought east and west together in a very positive way and involved government ministers too raising the profile of Physiotherapy in the Lebanon at the same time.
It was a great pleasure for us to have been included and James joins me in thanking all of you and your colleagues for having made us so welcome at every stage of our visit. Georges please also thank your wife and family for their welcome when we had the honour of being welcomed into your home for Sunday lunch.
Dear Georges and Claude thank you again and hopefully we look forward to seeing you both at the next meeting of ER WCPT in Malta in May 2012.
With very best wishes and kind regards to all,
Chair ER WCPT
