Mrs. Jeanine MATAR

After her graduation from the Institute of Higher Education in Physiotherapy, Jounieh, in 2003, Jeanine started working at arcenciel (NGO) as a Physiotherapist, trainees’ supervisor and universities coordinator.

In 2008, she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Manual and Osteopathic Therapy from Saint Joseph University. In 2012, she took the diploma of Health Management from Sainte Famille University and has been the Head of health department in arcenciel since then. She manages, by recruiting and supervising, a team of professionals in different fields (doctors, specialists, technicians, secretaries, assistants…), supervises the quality of the service provision, monitor the day-to-day activities, and follows up on the hygiene and maintenance of the health department premises.
In 2013, she implemented the Acupuncture activity in arcenciel after obtaining her Diploma in Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion and Tuina massage from Saint Joseph University.

In 2016, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Saint Joseph University.

Furthermore, Jeanine is a lecturer in Antonine University and La Sagesse University.

She regularly participates in workshops, and she gives a speech in different congresses and conferences.

She has been providing training sessions in guidelines for the provision of Manual Wheelchairs for Lebanese and Syrian trainers since acquiring TOT certification in «Wheel chair Service Delivery Package – Basic and intermediate level » from USAID, World Learning, Mobility India, Al Hussein Society, JORDAN in 2017
